Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network receives $10,000 grant

ELMHURST – The Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network was among 38 organizations awarded a Community Needs Grant from the DuPage Foundation. The $10,000 grant will help fund EWAN’s programs which provide emergency financial assistance to local families in need.

The DuPage Foundation is DuPage County’s philanthropic leader. In this grant cycle they awarded over $483,000 to nonprofit organizations in the area of health and human services. In the fall, they will provide grants in similar amounts to nonprofits in the area of arts and education.
